TA-Cast carbide rods
Cast tungsten carbide in a nickel-silver matrix for oxy-acetylene and TIG deposition.
Ask about this
Our cast carbide rods bind crushed or spherical tungsten carbide grains in a nickel-silver brazing alloy. The low melting point of the matrix lets you lay carbide onto a part without overheating the base metal, so the carbide grains keep their full hardness.
Choose the grain size for the wear mode. Coarse grains resist gouging and impact; fine grains give a smoother surface for sliding abrasion and corrosion.
